Footballer, Jeheil Cole is hoping to raise US $15,000 for his freshman year at the Sussex County Community College, Newton, New Jersey, USA. The 20-year-old Cole, needs to attain the funds by August 2 in order to study Exercise Science and Kinesiology and play on the school’s football team “Sussex Skylanders.”
Sussex County Community is unable to provide any athletic or international scholarships but he was given the in-state tuition which is only given to students who live in the state and student/athletes. The former student of Belmont Intermediate and Tranquility Secondary School plays locally for Defence Force FC.

Jeheil whose preferred position is defence is the eldest of seven children and his aim is to motivate and lead by example for his younger siblings. He and his family held several fundraisers mostly food sales but it was halted due to the latest COVID-19 restrictions.
Sussex County coach Frank Vernachio wrote highly of Cole on the Community College’s website. Vernachio said, “I have enjoyed my conversations with Jeheil and could tell that he is both excited and grateful for this next step. He is a talented player who will certainly add to the quality of this 2021 class.” He added, “He has the ability to hold up or get in behind a defence. He is versatile in his play and I am thrilled to have him joining our programme.”
