Kevon “Showtime” Woodley scored a brace to secure a 2-0 victory for Cunupia FC against Moruga FC in the fourth round of the Ascension Football Tournament played at the Arima Velodrome on Monday.

Nevertheless, “Showtime” needed just one opportunity to break the deadlock and it came in the 39th minute. The prolific striker met a Dominic Douglas` cross from the left flank and shot it first time from inside the box for the 1-0 lead and his fifth goal of the tournament.

Goalkeeper Kerdeem Duncan made a valiant effort by getting a hand on the shot, but it was too powerful to be kept out. The match ended 2-0 with meant that Cunupia FC move to 9 points for the third spot while Moruga FC is yet to get off the mark.
